For those tennis fans who want to follow all the fun and excitement surrounding the US Open tournament, get to New York and join in with all the parties and club hopping from event to event that will be happening the week before the US Open tennis scores start posting.
Tuesday, August 24th through Friday, August 27th, is when the US Open qualifiying tournaments begin. The ‘qualies’ are free and every tennis fan as well as non-tennis fans are encouraged to head over to the USTABJKNTC and take advantage of free tennis!
August 24th, Evian and Maria Sharapova will host an ‘A Live Young’ event at the Openhouse Gallery located on Mulberry Street in Manhattan. August 25th, Andy Roddick will be at the Babolat event to promote and raise money for the Andy Roddick Foundation. Eric Babolat will be presenting Andy with a donation at the CityView Racquet Club located in Long Island City. Also, Federer, Nadal, Serena and Maria Sharapova will all be attending the Nike Party ‘Nike Primetime Knockout’ at Pier 54 in Manhattan.
August 26th, Thursday, Venus Williams will be at the New York SPORTIME tennis center with Polo Ralph Lauren Legends Clinic at Randall’s Island. The BNP Paribas ‘Taste of Tennis’ event , located at 49th and Lexington, will also be happening on the same day; this is the only event in the world where you can sample sensational food prepared by world class chefs while enjoying interactive lounges, sipping signature rum cocktails, groove to great music and mingle with celebrities.
There will be several more exciting events happening all over New York and all of them are to celebrate the US Open tennis 2010 , which is guaranteed to be better than all the pre-week parties wrapped into one.

Maps and atlas’ have an extremely practical use as well as one that that is recreational or hobby oriented. The garden is a very special place in any home. For those who are fortunate enough to have the space, and the time, to create a smaller version of nature in their own backyard, it can connect one to the elements every day. Although the garden has changed enormously over time, and is constantly evolving, there is always something very elemental about the experience of being in one’s own natural space. It’s something that all the great poets have known, where nature is one of the primary sources of inspiration. Shakespeare ‘s notions of everything under the sun were subject to his changing moods, and it was certainly the case with gardens, and one of its centerpieces, garden fountains . Greece and all of the Greek islands have a certain mystic and this is related not only to their incredible beauty but also to the amazing cultural heritage that is associated with the country. And many of the ancient gods and goddesses of that great mythological belief system remain intact in the consciousness and culture of the entire Western World. So, what is the secret to all of this amazing beauty and significance? Well, it’s a secret of course. But millions of tourists explore the mainland and islands of Greece and are amazed at what they discover.
Corfu is one of the beautiful Greek islands located in the Ionian Sea. And while the amazing beauty and peacefulness of the shores might belie any association to the turbulent nature and relationships of the gods there is virtually no area of Greece that does not have some kind of an association. With Corfu the name itself can be traced to Korkyra, a beautiful daughter of a river nymph. Poseidon fell in love with her and brought her to the previously unnamed island to protect her from being accosted by Zeus, who was well known for his ways. The couple had a child named Phaiax and subsequent inhabitants of the island were known as Phaiakes. And while it isn’t necessary to understand the Greek mythology before visiting one of the Corfu hotels , a basic background will certainly enhance your experience.

One is either lucky or persevering to make it to the streets of ancient Jerusalem. Not many people from other countries can say that they have spent time there but most will say they have read about the different events that have happened there.
While one is booking their travel plans with Jerusalem hotels and flights they should also be planning out their activities for when they arrive. There are some great tours that can be found and booked even before you leave home.

As new generations have sprung up in this old city, there has been many who have wanted to build new structures only to be halted by the old city opening up below. This is heaven for archaeologists and seekers of human history.
